MaeAnn ross is a sound and Projections designer currently Residing in Baltimore, Maryland. She holds a mfa in sound design From uc San Diego and a bfa in theatre technical production from Texas state university.
maeann has fifteen years of sound design and technical experience under her belt and has worked on close to two hundred Productions as either a sound designer or technician. She also dabbles in Projection System design and Programming.
in 2016, she won the broadwayworld austin award for best sound design for the 39 steps. in 2017, she won the Kennedy center american college theatre festival (KCACTF) REgion six award for Excellence in sound design for Fool for love.
From 2020-2022, she was the post mfa fellow in design at pomona college department of theatre and dance.
From 2021-2023, she was the director of technical theatre, design, and production at coronado school of the arts.
She was previously a sound designer at GraphicAudio.
Currently, She is the sound supervisor and Stage management mentor at the community college of baltimore county.
